The real star of the first stage of Cyclocross Giro d'Italia in Asiago has been the Team Selle Italia Guerciotti Elite. The yellow/black team, this year a real Dream Team, has won four of the five races where rode. In a sole race they took three victories: Gioele Bertolini in the juniores, Alice Arzuffi in the women juniores (and second in the open race) and Francesca Cucciniello (women elite). In the race for elite / under 23, Enrico Franzoi took a good second place (not with a good pace yet in a race with a 34km/h medium speed) behind Cristian Cominelli. In the Under 23 cathegory Elia Silvestri took the victory (second place for Bryan Falaschi). Now Team Selle Italia Guerciotti Elite is in the first place in the general classification for teams.
